World of possibilities

Don’t Let A Crisis Go To Waste

No doubt this current period is one that we will remember a long time. Slowly but surely we are adapting to new standards.

However, these strange times offer us an opportunity of a new way of thinking to better align with our truth, our potential, what is really important to us, and how we can diversify our skills to insulate or at least minimize the impact that these types of events will have on us now and in the future.

Because one thing is for sure, we can’t rely on our corporate security any longer. More than ever we need to transition into self-reliability.

More than ever we have the capability to turn this crisis into a great deal of opportunities:

1 – Take this time to identify what drives you in life

What would your ideal life look like? What would your ideal average day look like?

Take this opportunity of slowed down times to reflect on what truly motivates you in life. You can come to the conclusion that it hasn’t much to do with what you are experiencing now. But think of it as clearly as you can and eventually put your thoughts down on a notepad or using a vision board.

2 – Commit & identify SMART Goals

Now that you have identified that great Vision for yourself, think of what Goals you could set to accomplish it. To effectively set goals you can first break your vision into yearly, monthly, and daily goals. And second use the SMART Goal Setting system (Specific-Measurable-Attainable-Relevant-Time bound).

3 – Set Habits

Research concluded that repetitive behaviors become habits after practicing them for 66 days. If you can commit to yourself to set new habits for 2 months, you then won’t even have to think about it. To make that transformation easier you can engage with an accountability group so you can both encourage as well as hold each other accountable.

Briefly, these habits will transform your life: Seek great mentors (through your network, but also through YouTube, books, podcasts..), look after your health (sleep, exercise, eat well), meditate (breath, visualize, practice affirmation).

4 – Commit to self-improving and learning

We live in a time where so much knowledge is at our disposal. Life is growth, without growth there’s no life. Now is the time to take that course you’ve always wanted to do but never had the time to, read this book, learn this instrument, follow a personal development program, learn a new skill…

When I came to realize that my ideal life was one of fulfillment, passion, freedom, and travel, I looked for new opportunities. And this is how I started my online business…
